Jam was aired on Channel 4 in 2000, featuring the same team as its radio precursor, and written by Chris Morris, jam pushes the boundaries of television comedy further than any other show has done for many years.
Jam retains the same macabre subject matter and ambient soundtracks as Blue Jam and presents the material in a sequence of distorted, disorienting visuals.

Jam has to be one of the funniest and under rated comedy shows of all time. Orignally shown on Channel 4 (actually based on blue jam on radio one, which soon got banned) at stupid o'clock in the morning, it consisted of a series of often disturbing, but usually hilarious sketches that would be shown with a ambient, eerie soundtrack in the background. Some scenes were that controversial, it brought up headlines in the newspaper. If you have an open mind, and like something different, then I really suggest you try this. I will say this though, if you are easily offended, do not buy this. I once showed it to a friend of mine, and he was not amused. The extras are definately worth buying it for also, as there is a little comedy sketch show done by Adam and Joe (if anyone remembers The Adam and Joe show on channel 4?) and it also stars David Cann who played Brian in Simon Pegg's Spaced.

controversial , hillarious its all here but unsetteling warn

This is not your conventional sketch show it plays out like a bad surreal dream a skewed conscience. Watch very late at night( or 03.28am) for best effect. The opening poem sequence of down and out sets the mood to amience and broken images of the strange and challenging to an extent merging nightmare with comedy. Slightly even darker than morris other work but it holds together well. Some great observations armando innauchi style (check out his excellent series on dvd) well done chris and the amazing acting of the cast.
