Harold And Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay marks the triumphant return of these two hilarious, slacker anti-heroes. The movie stars John Cho as Harold and Kal Penn as Kumar, two stoners who can't seem to get a break. Their last adventure found them travelling across country to find a White Castle hamburger in order to satisfy a weed-induced case of "the munchies". This time, the boys get themselves in trouble by trying to sneak a bong onboard a flight to Amsterdam. Now, being suspected as terrorism, they are forced to run from the law and try to find a way to prove their innocence. What follows is an irrevelent and epic journey of deep thoughts, deeper inhaling and a wild trip around the world that is an "un-PC" as it gets!

This sequel starts the moment the last movie ended, but this time they are running from the joint! Having being mistaken for having a bomb instead of the bong on the plane to Amsterdam, the two pot heads find them selves in Guantanamo Bay as terrorists!
The film is very similar to the first, as there personal Cuban crisis lasts for only five minutes until they escape back to the U.S. Then it's another side splitting road trip of misadventures. The film reaches new depths in side splitting toilet gags, the best being the Bottmless party and the redneck inbread Cyclops child. But the film also has some well observed political swipes, and even manages to call in on soon to be Ex-Pesident George.W.Bush, but this gag is not used to it's full potential, as the writers seem to chicken out, and instead of going for the throat, they turn this dim whitten war munger into a friendl dope loving "good ol boy" it's a pitty as all the rest of the gags seem to hit home, but this is a minor quibble in a film full of side splitting, jaw dropping moments.
Lets just hope that this is not the last adventure we share with the dope loving duo.
Brilliant foul mouthed crude and clever comedy!

This film will go down as one of the best comedies of 2008, we see the comic pair re-united since their epic quest for the White Castle burger in the first film, this film picks up straight where that one left off and it isn't long till something goes wrong...the film contains non stop laughs and is definately a must see.

If you enjoyed the first one, you will LOVE this.
H & K just continue the ride, and it as ridiculous and stupid as the first movie.
I'm usually a bit of a snob when it comes to these sort of low brow, gross out movies, but I love this one.
Bring on Part 3.

 Funny Film

This sequel leads straight on from the first film and delivers its first laugh within the first minute from a toilet related joke so straight away the tone is set. Of course though, not all the jokes are juvenile and the film delivers on gags. NPH makes a great return to the film and is even better then in the first film. There are no real slow moments of the film and even when it tries to be serious a gag or two always creep in to make you laugh even more.
The second disc contains an interactive version of the movie and allows you to change the outcome of the movie which is a brilliant touch to add to the watchability of the film and more often then not the selections that stray away from the original film are funnier then the scene in the actual film, (although these alternate outcomes could not be used in the film as the film would not work) making the film even better in my book.
This film is funny throughout and if you are a fan of films related to this genre, it is definatly worth a watch, just make sure you watch it till the end of the credits!!
