I really didn't think i was going to enjoy this film but i gave it a go anyway. turns out i really enjoyed it, the storyline is quite predictable but as far as animations go this is one of the best i have seen (alongside shrek, bolt and chicken run).

     Awesome! xD

My boyfriend bought this to watch on one of our nights in && we weren't disappointed. It's such a good film, has a good storyline although admittedly, a little childish but it is a child's film so what can you expect really?! We were both sitting there like little kids giggling at bob - Seth Rogan totally rocks! (: Definitely recommended, especially at that price!

Amazing film, So so funny. Seriously one of my favourite Kids Animations. B.O.B is the best just for his one liners and insectosaurus, lol. I haven't seen B.O.Bs big break but im sure its just as good. Good job DreamWorks.

     Very good film

I bought this film thinking that from the reviews it was not going to be very good i found it very entertaining and a good family film my advise is watch it and see for yourself but if you liked the incredables and bolt you will like this a lot

     Very Good

Bought this expecting quite a lot given that I am a huge fan of most of the voice-actors in it, and was not disappointed! The storyline is a little bit silly, but what do you really expect from a kids film!?
I'd say that the only down-side is the fact that usually the makers of animated movies put in a few double entendres or slightly risque references for the adults, but this film doesn't have too many of these, although it more than makes up for this with the action sequences which are spot on, as well as references to old horror and science fiction movies which would make any movie-connoisseur smile.
The voice actors all did a great job, Reese Witherspoon suprised me (I've never really been a huge fan) and is very good, and Seth Rogen as B.O.B is utterly hilarious! Overall I'd say it's more aimed at the kids this time, but is still very funny and will keep the adults amused too!

Anybody with a thirst for science fiction films will love Monsters Vs Aliens, as it pays homage to a number of them including Attack of the 50 Foot Woman, I, Robot, Star Wars and Men In Black. With wonderful computer animation throughout and a surprisingly sexy heroine (voiced by Reece Witherspoon) this is a must-see movie for all CGI and Sci-fi fans.

When a young woman on her wedding day comes into contact with a glowing meteorite and grows to enormous size, she is incarcerated by the US Military as a Monster, and meets four other creatures similarly imprisoned. But when an alien spacecraft unleashes a Giant Robot upon San Fransisco, the only beings on the planet capable of restoring order are the five monstrous prisoners, who are released to do battle with the machine and its Mekon-like creator.

With one-liners galore and laughs aplenty to go with animation as wonderful as this and a script to rival any Pixar movie, Monsters Vs Aliens is certainly a film to enjoy time and time again. Highly recommended!
