The Ugly Truth

I loved this film, but whatever you do, do not watch it with youre mother like i did, its full of inuendo and things that should just not be mentioned as it can get embarressing!
Otherwise i found it hugely amusing, and not boring at all, i enjoyed every minute and would have gladly paid to see it again, cannot wait till it comes out on dvd,
If you are looking for a great night watch this with your girlfriend or even boyfriend, theres plenty for him to get engrossed in too!

Just your average rom com here, nothing too out of the ordinary. The film contains laughs throughout and your usual soppy scenes for the female audience, I didn't think the film was all too bad and I suppose I would recommend it for a watch.

I enjoy rom coms for the escapism and this one is no different. There are a couple of laugh out loud moments and I am a fan of Gerry. Katherine has proven that she has the humour and looks good as leading lady. Worth a watch.

Abbie Richer (Katherine Heigl) is a TV producer in California for a morning show, she comes home from a disastrous date for her cat to change the channel to a show called 'The Ugly Truth,' which is hosted by Mike Chadway (Gerard Butler) The Ugly Truth is now directed by Abbie, she has a crush on the guy next door, she tells Mike, and he guarantees that if he doesn't get Abbie the date, he'll quit.
It all works out for Abbie and her date Colin (Eric Winter)

Great film, hilarious and brilliant enjoyable for everyone.

Watched this after it being recommended in blockbuster and it is honestly one of the best rom coms I have watched in a long time that has been made in the last few years.
Of course Gerard Butler makes this films.
Really creative and different. Not the same as others who make out men are 'perfect' but reveals what some men actually are and not all womens dream man is.
Love it. 5 stars from me. (And I'm a film student. haha.)
