If it bleeds we can kill it!!!

Get both special editions of Predator 1 and 2 on this fantastic 4 disc box set, packed full of loads of extras with behind the scenes footage, interviews with the crew and cast, and some of the best Schwarzenegger anecdotes you'll ever see!

Predator: It sees the heat of their bodies. It smells their fears. It hunts for sport. It kills for pleasure. In a place without rules - the hunter has become the hunted. Deep inside the jungles of Latin America, Schwarzenegger's team of elite commandos are being slaughtered by a mysterious predator. No longer are they hunters - they are the prey... of an alien whose only instinct is to kill. One by one it strikes with inhuman ferocity. Now to survive, with the jungle as their only ally, they face their greatest challenge: to stay alive.

Predator 2: Last time it landed in the jungle. This time, it's chosen Los Angeles. Ravaged by open warfare between rival drug gangs, L.A. is the perfect killing ground for the Predator, who is drawn by heat and conflict. When the police find mutilated bodies, Lieutenant Mike Harrigan (Danny Glover) thinks it's the work of the feuding gangs. Then a mysterious government agent (Gary Busey) arrives and orders him to stay off the case. Instead, Harrigan sets out to learn what is really going on, and comes face to face with the savage alien in a climatic, electrifying confrontation...

Up there with the Aliens movies as genre defining and it gave us a very different monster which has been copied to disastrous effect by other filmmakers. Both films are excellent with very different settings, one being in the jungle and the other a bustling city. Each brings its own atmosphere and excitement etc. Predator 2 seems to get a bit of a hard time in some corners but I think it has a lot going for it. It didn't carry the same weight actor wise, although I think Danny Glover is an excellent actor. I don't think it got the same promotional push as the first one, meaning that most of us got to see it on video/DVD. I for one would have liked to see it in the cinema. This a good value boxset.

Both films are brilliantly done with awesome action. Arnold Schwarzenegger meets his toughest opponent yet, a bad ass alien from outer space hunting the deadliest creature on the planet man. Schwarzenegger is Dutch leader of a commando team sent into south American jungles to help rescue American soldiers. They end up becoming hunted themselves and the survival for there lives begins. The Predator is such an original alien which has never been seen on screen, packed with some really deadly weapons. The first film is a classic and has a great cast.
The sequel is just as fun. Still not as good as the original but the action, the cast and the new things you see in it are very entertaining. Not to mention the Pred's spaceship at the end with the iconic alien skull and the others. It gave you an idea on what the Predator has hunted across the galaxy. I loved the location set in LA and seeing the Predator run riot across it and his new weapon's he has in store for his victims this time round. Also great that Kevin peter hall managed to play the Predator one last time and did a great job. I just think this film deserves more credit. Both films come with great extras with a making-of reflecting back on the film.
