Classic 80s action with roaring soundtrack and eye candy all round for the ladies. A bit cheesy and camp but still an enjoyable feel good movie.

i have watched this god nose how many times and i can never get board of it i am 19 and i first watched it when i was 7 so for 12 years this has been my favourite film of altime!

Great sound track, great film, all good fun, full of great 1-liners that are still used today.

A classic film with a must see for all genre's. Has a great story, action with highs and lows in the film. Makes you want to become a pilot!

I'm sorry but I don't know the age of the previous reviewer but this brings me back to my mid-teens, particularly the Kenny Loggins soundtrack (which I'm sure is still in my loft - sad, I know!). This film is very 80's but what's so wrong about that. Lots of serious pouting and posing from the Cruiser and Val Kilmer in particular but it is effortless fun not some serious movie. Sit down and let the memories come flooding back.

This film follows the same old predictable, tired formula of most of the Hollywood mush that is released. U have to have good looking leads, overbearing soundtrack, obvious story, marketing shots, fake tinted sky, and huge sunglasses...then u got a big movie hit! Why do people like this kind of rubbish so much?

Good soundtrack,good film, well worth the money, excellent through & through. Tom Cruise is excellent in this film.

I watched this again recently and I'd forgotten how good it was. There was some dodgy dialouge eg 'your ego's writing cheques your body can't cash' well you get the idea.

This doesn't stop you enjoying the film, Tom Criuse giving it everything as one of his first major starring roles and the aerial sequences and dog fights are second to none.

Sit back and grab yourself a slice of 80's attitude, tight shorts and male posturing.

It's just a walk in the park - buy it!
