This film has a wonderful 60s psychadelic feel to it that really adds to its style and character. The music again very 60s adds its own style to the film. The sets, space ships and robots are very avant garde as are the wonderful costumes designed by Jacques Fonteray and the couturier Paco Rabane for Jane Fonda. There are some great super hero characters and villans in the film, with Anita Pallenburg's voice being dubbed and supplied by the wonderful Joan Greenwood although many think it is Fenella Fielding. Very camp, but imaginative.
Barbarella is a cult phenomona in the Sci-fi genre which i enjoy immensly.

total retro overload! this film makes me feel like im back in the 60s, from furry spaceships to planets where everyone on it are having orgys is the street, as long as you dont take it to seriously its great fun.
