The 4400: Complete Collection

The 4400 is a show I stumbled across on Netflix when I needed a good TV series to get stuck into and it's a series I highly recommend. It does take a maybe the whole of season 1 (only six episodes long) to get into the show however, its worth sticking with it. Seasons 2-4 are really good. The show is well acted, well written and as everyone had already mentioned, thought-provoking. The end of season 4 seems a bit rushed and I think they could've pushed a fifth season out personally before cancelling the show. Anyway, worth the watch!!

from the pilot to the final episode you will be glued the pace is fast and entertaining a must for all sci-fi fans who want to lose themselves in fantasy.

Cannot believe this gets good reviews. I bought this boxset on that basis and wasz promptly bored to tears for weeks. The fact it has been cancelled now only adds to the frustration of watching a show that takes until Season 4 and 30+ episodes to get moving. The idea was great, the application boring and dull. The writers had no oomph about it and that is why it went off air. If you want a thoughtful, slow paced drama a la Brideshead Revisited with a BIT of scifi then watch this, if you want an exciting series, try something else.

I'm watching it for the second time right now and enjoying it all over again.

Never Missed an episode, very clever writing and brilliantly acted, each episode is thought provoking and must have if your in to Sci fi, or even a bit if you want something to make you think

This was one of those shows I saw advertised on skyone and gave it a miss when it was originally aired (although I love that kind of thing) because it seemed like another x-men rip off and until Heroes those kind of shows werent great.

But a few years later I decided to set my skybox to record them all each day when repeated and I've come to really like it and realised how well written it actually was.

Its not just another special effects ridden tv show about people with abilities! Its far more about the emotional impact of those abilities on the people, the families the world and the two agents sent to watch them.

I would reccomend watching all these before buying them to make sure you like it, as its bound to be repeated on skyone again at some point, but personally I think this is going on my xmas list this year.

Im glad I waited for the entire thing to be out in a box set.
