I was devastated to hear the show had been cancelled and not picked up for a second season! The story of Vampire Mick St John played by the very talented (and yum) Alex O'Loughlin in today's world was very gripping. The chemistry between the main characters were addictive and the original vampire mythology made the story almost real enough to touch. The underlying storyline gripped everyone and to be in only its first season had HUGE potential. Moonlight is a must buy for all vampire buffs, it truly is up there with Interview with a Vampire! BRING IT BACK!!!
Great show sadly cancelled well before it's time

The chemistry between the three leads is exceptional. The chartcters work amazingly together, the writters make you want to laugh and cry with the chracters. It has a fictional element (vampires) and places them soildedly into our world. Amazing a must see if you like blood ties or buffy

Great show sadly cancelled well before it's time. The chemistry between the three leads is exceptional. The writing is exquisite making you want to laugh then cry in the space of a heartbeat. This show well deserves another series.
one of the best shows of the year

i loved this show from the start. it wasnt the typical vampire story where you have vampires and demons, with moonlight they combine the vampire theme with the typial crimes of this day and age and it made it more interesting to see if there were any vampires out there how they would live in today society.
The best show to hit tv for agess

Not many shows are capable of gaining my interest, but from the 1st episode of Moonlight I was hooked. There's great chemistry between the 3 main characters, especially Mick and Josef, and superb storylines, along with an incredible soundtrack. Through this excellent show I have been introduced to many new bands. And since it's sad demise I have watched every episode [all 16, yes, we only got 16] around 50 times each. So, yeah, I'm addicted and don't care who knows it. :) Thank God we're getting the DVDs here in the UK, [LOVE you, Play.com! x] my poor tapes can't take much more play. Even if you haven't seen the show, but love anything vamp related, then I urge you to buy this box set. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Stand out episodes include, Fever, BC, 12.04 am, Sleeping Beauty, Love Lasts Forever, Fated To Pretend and the finale, Sonata. Gripping from start to end. Buy it and spend a weekend in the company of what could have been one hell of an incredible show, if it had been given the chance to truly shine.
Wicked show, my son an I loved it from the start.

This is one TV show that captured the imagination of all ages.
My son (who's nearly 9) and I watched it every week, and even my Mum came round just to watch it with us.
The characters work well together, an immortal that didn't really want to be one (Alex O'Loughlin as Mick St John), A reporter (Sophia Myles as Beth) and the occasional appearance of Logan, a vampire who stayed in his basement playing computer games (my son's favourite!).. along with some amazing other characters, all made up this wonderful show.
If you haven't bought it already, what are you waiting for, it is well worth the watch. :-)
Welcome to Moonlight!!! Here's hoping for a second season.
Moonlight is a great show

I loved Moonlight from the episode. I can't understand why it was cancelled; this show has so much going for it and there is stil no much more stories to be told! The actors are great especially Alex O'Loughlin (who stars as Mick) and our very own Sophia Myles (as Beth). While the fight continues to try and break the show back from the grave, buy the DVD boxset (and for those of you who have never watched or heard of the show ; you will not regret buying the boxset, welcome to the world of Moonlight.
