"Nobody puts Baby in the corner". Voted one of the all-time best quotes in a film - EVER!

If I could I would have given this film a 100 out of 100.

This is the ultimate chick flick.

A story as old as time itself. Girl falls in love with boy. Boy is unsuitable. Family gets involved ... (I won't ruin the end)

The animosity and tension which existed between Swayze and Grey is almost non-existent as they dance the summer away and you can't help but fall in love with Kellerman's and all it represents.

The soundtrack plays on perfectly by and the iconic dance moves at the end will have everyone trying to do the lift.

I can't recommend this film highly enough.

Buy, watch, watch again and again and again, sing along and have the time of your life.

'That was the summer we went to Kellerman's.'

Dirty Dancing is one of the most talked about and raved about films in history, and for good reason. Set in the early 1960's, this film captures all the elements of typical social norms of this time. Baby (Jennifer Grey) is young, naive and has no idea what is in store for her when her family and her arrive at Kellerman's, a holiday resort where she meets gifted dance teacher Johnny (Patrick Swayze). Baby has the potential to become a great dancer and in the process grows up significantly and learns alot about the real world. With beautiful performances from both Grey and Swayze, this film is extremely hard NOT to love.

Definitely one of those Dvd's that you watch when it's a cold winters night and you've got a mug of something warm next to you. :)
