I love Phantom anyway, but this DVD is absolutely amazing. The music is superb, full of passion and emotion, I could watch it every night and not get bored with it. Just AWESOME!
i'm not a fan of film musicals, but thought i would get this before going to see it on stage. and i have to say, im pleasantly surpirsed! a really good film, with great performances!
one disappointment though. according to the description,it says there are special features.i bought mine via playtrade, using the same description, but unfortunetly, there are none.
Absolutely Stunning, Can't watch it enough!

This is an excellent version of Phantom, its visually stunning, brilliantly acted by all the cast and its just a pure pleasure to watch. Gerard Butler makes the phantom so believable, and you empathise with the character. Hes one to watch out for!! The music is played at its best yet!
Stunning

when i watched this film on dvd i was amazed at the sheer
brilliance of the performances from a young 'emmy rossum' as 'christine' ( what a magical voice from one so young),also a polished showing as the 'phantom' from 'gerard rossum'
the phantom becomes obsessed with 'christine's' vocal
ability.
i'm sure most will be familiar with the story, but,if you have
not yet seen this be prepared to be impressed.
this will send a shiver down your spine,it's a truley emmotional ride, great and familiar songs, along with the
impressive orchestral backing throughout.
great if you can watch and listen with surround sound.
I love it !!!

i've just seen this on c4 and it is marvellous. although i must say i really dont think the guy who plays the phantom can sing!! he sounds more like one of the rock bands i listen to then an opera star!
