Blade: A blood chilling, action-packed thriller about modern day vampires unlike any previously encountered. Wesley Snipes is Blade, the ultimate vampire hunter, and immortal warrior who possesses the superhuman strength and cunning of a vampire but shares none of their weakness.

Able to walk by day and stalk by night, Blade must confront his ultimate adversary, the omnipotent vampire overlord Deacon Frost, Stephen Dorff, who is intent on leading an underground legion of vampires to conquer mankind. Blade must use his awesome powers and razor-sharp weaponry like never before to prevent the annihilation of the entire human race.

Blade 2: The blood coursing through Blade's veins is half-human, half-vampire, the result of a vampire attack on his mother before he was born. Blade has been working with Scud, a brilliant slacker and inventor of devious weapons, to destroy any vampires that cross their paths. The hunt for vampires takes them to the lair of Blade's sworn enemy - Vampire overlord Damaskinos, who now needs Blade to deal with a far more deadly threat than either has ever faced before. Nyssa Damaskinos's strong and darkly exotic daughter, and her co-warrior, Asad come to meet Blade to formalise a truce. They will have to work together to stop the Reapers, a Super race of vampires.

A mutated form of their vampire predecessors, the Reapers are infiltrating humanity and vampires alike with the reaper strain that will leave thousands of carriers roaming the streets in just a short time. The infected trail leads back to Patient Zero, Jared Nomak and Blade must destroy him before he and the Reapers destroy the human race.

Blade Trinity: This is the third installment of the film series adapted from Marvel comics. Here, a new challenge faces the preternaturally sharp hunter, Blade (Wesley Snipes), when a group of vamps resurrect the long-slumbering "Drake" (Dominic Purcell)--the ancient and all-powerful Count Dracula--and Blade meets the ultimate opponent. Teaming up with the Nightstalkers, a group of similar-minded hunters led by tough slayer-hottie Abigail (Jessica Biel) and her joke-a-minute partner Hannibal (Ryan Reynolds), Blade is ready for battle.

However, Drake's handlers are an unruly bunch themselves, with sassy goth wench Danica (Parker Posey in a wonderfully exaggerated performance) doing her best to make things as unpleasant as possible. What's more, while Danica's vamp team is harvesting homeless people for their blood, the Nightstalkers' scientist creates a potion that can not only kill Drake but can take the entire bloodsucking race with him. And thus, David S. Goyer continues the BLADE cinema series, satisfying fans with plenty of the nocturnal monster mystique they so desperately crave.

Blade is one of the best comic book adaptions to the big screen ever. Wesley Snipes is outstanding as the day walker. Now here is the chance to re-live the ultra-violent trilogy.
BLADE 1998
This is a brilliant action packed film, the techno sountrack is brilliant, but it's the fights that count. The film also did bullet time a year before the overated Matrix.
This film is slightly letdown by a overblown ending with the flying skulls that feels out of place with the rest of the film.
****
BLADE 2 2002
A sequel that is actually better than the first !
The action, effects, violence, story and music are even better than the first. The film even manages to be scary in places. This is a perfect comic book movie and can stand shoulder to shoulder with the Spider-Man trilogy Superman Returns and Batman Begins as the best comic to film adaption ever. A ultra violent classic!
*****
BLADE TRINITY 2004
the weakest of the trilogy.
Snipes looks bored, but the fights are still brilliant and the music is still oustanding. The film is also very funny in places. this version is the cinema version and not the slightly better extended cut.But with all the films faults it is still a very entertaing bit of comic book action.
***
This is still one of the greatest trilogy's ever, and a must buy for any action/horror fan.
Excellent comic book stuff, this leaves you wanting Snipes to return for BLADE 4 , but I guess we will have to wait for Wesley to get out prison first, before that happens!

 Not the best choice

For the best bargain get the 1 and 2 boxset and buy the 3rd with directors cut separately. Here on play that will set you back about a tenner if you time it right in the sales. Many think the last film was the worst, and maybe the theatrical cut was, but the directors cut is a well rounded romp with no plot holes. Films are worthwhile, in this set maybe not so.

A must own for all Marvel Fans and vampire fans

Blade *****(5) this is the best out of all 3 and just amazing from start to finish .
Blade 2 *****(5) Not as good as first but still very good and well put together with a new breed of Vampire
Blade trinty ****(4) more of a comic book feel to it got rid off all the gore and replaced with jokes , not as good as the 1st two but still a good action movie
