An encounter between the bandit, Mangal Singh, and police officer, Shamsher Singh, ends with the arrest of the criminal. Whilst inside, Mangal's wife dies during child-birth, delivering a boy. Shamsher decides to adopt the boy, naming him Amit. Both Shamsher and his wife raise Amit, alongside their own son, Kishen. After 14 years in prison, Mangal is finally released. Upon a tip-off from his brother, Devsingh, he finds out about the adoption of his son and vows to commit revenge on his captor. However, when he arrives at the house, he mistakenly tells Kishen that he is his father. The two begin to plot the downfall of Shamsher's family unaware of the truth...
