It's New Year's Eve in the city of Terminus and chaos is this year's resolution. All forms of communication have been jammed by an enigmatic transmission that preys on fear and desire driving everyone in the city to murder and madness. In a place once marked by conformity but now sent into complete anarchy, the rebellious Ben must save the woman he loves from the bedlam in the streets as well as her crazed sadistic husband. But the only way he can tell who to trust or who has given in to violence is by uncovering the true nature of The Signal.

Told in three parts by three visionary directors, The Signal was originally conceived as an experimental film project called Exquisite Corpse where one filmmaker would begin a story then hand it off to another filmmaker to continue and then to another and so on until the movie was complete. The story eventually took shape and evolved into a horror that imagines a world where everyday anxieties become the catalyst for inhuman terror. The Signal is a horrific journey towards discovering that the most brutal monster might actually be within all of us.

 Pure awesomeness.

The fantastic view from 3 different directors about how civilization could go down. Being a fan of terror nowadays is pretty disappointing, considering that practically the only released films in the genre are either rip-off's of older installments or remakes.
But this, this is something different.

 Wow!

What to say about this film? It was a real surprise, not really knowing anything about it. It is definately worth the purchase price and then some. If you like a horror film to be a bit different, this should be top of your list. Thee middle section is as funny as it is brutal, thats all I can say, don't want to give anything away. BUY IT!

 Getting hooked by the signal

Shocking in many ways, in violnece, in structure, in story and in how truly spectacular this film turned out to be. It was the very interesting concept that made me buy this film, I wasn't too sure what to expect, I got more than I bargained for, this film is incredible and for the price for it here on Play.com, it's a steal, worth every penny and more, buy it!!

 Now for something completely different...

I've been waiting for the UK release of this little gem for a while now as I watched it on region1 sometime last year. If you like your films to explain everything simply and in easy-to-understand segments then avoid this film. If, however, you like your films to be quixotic and at-the-disturbing-end of amusing then this will be right up your particular street. Personally, I found it one of the most brilliantly original, surprising and memorable films i'd seen in a good long while. If you want a film like [insert film name here] or like that one with [insert actor name here] then look elsewhere. If you want something genuinely different, however, and a film that will stay with you long after you watch it then try this. You might just love it.

 Good concept.

I thought the film was well worth the watch and certainly superior ro 'From Dawn to Dusk' in many ways.
Maybe not as gory as most current so called 'horrors' and a delightful absence of screaming teenage chicks and dumbo college boys running around awaiting slaughter
