Charlie Kaufman has always been a screenwriter to watch, both Being John Malkovich and Adapatation are astounding films, and with 'Eternal Sunshine...' he's just scored his hat-trick. The pairing of Carrey and Winslet is a match made in heaven and both have never been better. Michel Gondry brings a unique visual style to the film that really helps you to get inside Joel's mind. A second viewing will be required to help tie up all the questions you may have, but you won't regret them. A true cinematic gem, 'Eternal Sunshine..' is sweet, affecting, thought-provoking and guarenteed to stay with you forever...

this is without a doubt one of or the best film of the last decade the acting is increadible, the story is really well driven the use of music is amazing and the story will keep you guessing until a very suprising ending. just increadible

This is a film that all will enjoy, I will be honest the first 20 minutes I wasn't sure if i was going to keep watching it but once I got through that I was totally hooked. Loads of twists and keeps you guessing to the last minute, even at the end I wasn't completely sure the first time.
Well worth a watch and for £2.99 absolute bargain

A lot of people tend to dislike this film becuase it wasn't what they'd expect from Jim Carrey. It certainly suprised me, and although I prefer him as a comedian, he's open minded to different roles and tries to better himself as a performer, that's what's great about the movie, becuase that really shines through.
With a director like Michel Gondry, it would be hard for this film to be badly made, anyone that has seen Gondry's other work will know that his writing is unique and he approaches directing in a very creative way. Gondry loves to confuse the hell out of his audience but it's important that you embrace it and try to figure his film's out, rather than just give up on it.
If you've never seen it then buy this dvd, I never get bored of this film!

Music Video director, Michel Gondry hit the big time with this movie and its no surprise, it's special in all aspects. The story is unique and original, the directing is cool, stylish and brilliant but keeps to the basics.
The way in which the movie is filmed keeps you glued to the screen, you're scared to even blink incase you miss something. You're travelling between past, present, dream and reality, life as you know it and life how you wish you knew it. Gondry's directing style is breathtaking, it's a vision to behold, truly unique and brilliant.
Carrey and Winslet's performances are faultless, they're believeable and a pleasure to watch from start to finish.

Overall: This is a MUST SEE movie, it has comedy and it has drama, there's laughs and moments which'll jerk the tears. It's a touching story of loving and forgetting, and it even touches on true love.
Now it's one of my All-Time Favourite Movies.
