Now some people would watch this and think, "what possesed me to put this in the DVD player?", others would think it's one of the most original, heart warming films ever to reach your DVD player.
It focuses on a young man named Andrew Largeman (Braff) who is a one time actor, and now works at a waiter.
With one phone call by his father, Andrew visits his hometown, where he meets old friends and a girl named Sam (Portman). Essentually she is everything he is not, lively, happy, makes life worth living.
Due to a series of events Andrew begins living life like he has never done before, and faces his inner demons, and settle a relationship with his father.
The film was simply amazing, just watching two very different characters interact together and watching them progress was very touching, and with the story being as good as the acting, this is a film Braff fans would not want to miss, or anyone who has ever felt that their life was 'lifeless'.
