I was horrified when i read catherine tate was to be the drs new companion.3 episodes in i changed my mind.it only got better with the last 3 blistering episodes.what a turn up.tate can act and can prove how good she is at drama.the last episode had me in tears as donna saved us all but could not be saved.what a truly amazing ending to season 4.

Great Series, Catherine Tate was excellent. Unfortunately, as with Martha, she was over shadowed by Rose. Not the greatest ending to a series. Loved the Red Dalek. Davras was an improvement on his 80's counterpart. The series was carried very well by Tennant and Tate. God forbid that DT gets his way and Billy Piper ever gets to be The Doctor

This season was amazing right up until that sappy, cop out ending also known as Journeys end. The previous 2 episodes were amazing and then RTD unleashed that god awful finale. Davros criminally underused. Roll on the reign of Stephen Moffatt
