The Princess Bride: Special Edition (2 Discs)

If you're a fan of the good v evil fantasy motif, then you'll love this. Some great names make this a fun-packed adventure for all the family.

im twenty-one and loved this film and still do! must have seen it at least 3 times! the script, the directing, sets and costumes etc are all great. I showed this film to my nieces and nephew who are eight and nine years old and they loved it. in fact they couldn't even guess what year it was made in! buy this 2 disc special edition, its packed with special features!

after reading the title i thought this would be the kind of film my faince watches however i gave it a chance and can gladly say it's one of my favourite films-from the dialogue to the fight sequences as long as you like tongue in cheek humour you will love this film. if you havent seen it you're missing out on a gem.

Whether you are a child or adult this is just an amazing film. I first watched this many years ago when I was around 8 and I am now 25 and still love this film just as much as I did back then.

This film has heroes, giants, wizards, villains, sword fights and true love! (you'll understand if you watch the film.)

In essence this about a man, Wesley (Carey Elwes) saving his true love Buttercup (Robin Wright) from the clutches of an evil prince. The story is told in such a tongue in cheek and enchanting way you cannot help but fall in love with this movie. This is one of the best films to come out of the 80's. They really dont make them like they used to.

The acting, storyline and music all blend together to produce just a fantastic film that is simply a timeless classic. I cannot wait for the Blu-ray release of this film in the UK.

This film is great, plot, characters, and great lines. It is also great for a first date as well. Overall 5 stars.

Great movie for all ages. It has a great storyline that is easy to follow and really gets you involved with all the sub-plots. The characters and music are all very memorable, it's one of the only movies I can watch over and over again! I don't often reommend movies but if you haven't seen The Princess Bride it is well worth it, you'll never forget this magical movie. 5*

I love this film so much! It is a classic true Fairytail and I will watch it even when I am an old lady. Yes the acting isn't the best and the story line is a little cheesy but arn't all of the greats? I've said it once and I'll say it again, I love it!!!

I dont care what anyone thinks of my opinion on this film, it is a classic- solely based on the fact that i must have watched it a milion times when i was a kid and it is a classic action/sword fighting film with some comedy thrown in aswell! i remember laughing everytime, at the part when Westley gets strecthed and is like a useless rag doll for a while! If you havent seen it im not going to lie and say its the best film i have ever seen, because it isnt, however it is a classic and if you choose to watch it i think you'll be pleasently surprised!

I watched this film over and over when i was little back in the 80's and it was one of my favs.
So when i saw this 2 disc edition for a fiver i had to get it.I paid my money and watched it with my wife and kids upon its arrival and was well slightly upset it didnt hold that same magic as it did when i was a kid.My girls loved it and are now hooked like i was when i was that age maybe this movie is for the young.
Dont get me wrong it deserves the 4 stars i gave it and the 5 so many others have as it is truly an amazing film but holds more magic when your young and innocent.
