I saw the band live in the UK leg of the tour, and they were superb. I will mention this because how else can you rate a DVD when you've seen only (well a bit more than a few) clips.
Within Temptation's "Black Symphony" is a true wonder. The quality is super, and each song is like a journey to the edge of your imagination, causing an explosion in your head. Idea's simply freefall around.
The live orchestra add to the grandure of Within Temptation's distincitive sound. Moreover, the fact all the band members are good looking, adds to the DVD's appeal.
This DVD one of 2 music DVDs I have bought. All others seemd pointless!
For Fans of : well, dedicated Within Temptation muffins really...
Probably the best concert DVD I've ever seen - absolutely brilliant stuff. Buy this & prepare to be gobsmacked. So much quality, so much energy - great songs, brilliant production, fantastic singer & above all, pure musicianship. We are force fed so much "mainstream" rubbish these days so it's an absolute pleasure to see something as different & refreshing as this. Just get it.
Simply amazing! A tremendous gig in a great gift for all the people who could not be there that day.

If you love music.. no matter what style.. you would be hard pushed not to be a fan of this band after this gig. An amazing capture of an amazing performance! If you have Blu Ray... Get that version... not just for the visuals... the PCM24/96 sound is nothing short of breathtaking. Treat yourself and see this gig... you won't be disappointed!
Considering the amount of content in this package it is definitely worth the money!!
And as for the quality of the content!! Although I have not seen the extras yet, I am watching the gig right now and I can say that it is excellent. This is a band that deliver live! And with the orchestra accompanying them it enhances the show even further. All I can say is I wish I had been there.
