A must for all boxing fans

Found this to be a very enlightening account of Mikes life. From his early problems as a young boy, to becoming the most feared fighter of all time, to becoming someone disillusioned with the sport that saved him. Fascinating to here Mike speak about everything and amazing to see him in his pomp, when he really was frightening to watch. God knows what his opponents felt like when he entered the ring and began prowling around, desperate for that first bell. Loved it .

It's going to be a classic

I LOVED this film, so sincere and not all about the hype. It's like Tyson sitting with you explaining ALL of his life. I think this will be a classic documentary and a must for all to see, whether you like the man or not - he's so honest but seems so lost

was expecting this to be awesome but it was poor

i think this should be called tyson the interview and not tyson the movie, while i did find it watchable i found parts boring and just watching mike tyson sat on a sofa telling the story of his life with the odd clips here and there can hardly been classed as a movie can it?

I got this a week or so ago and each time I have watched I have been utterly enthralled.

I watched with my Dad and he was a bit aprehensive and thought it would be too heavy going but after 10 mintes he was amazed by how eloquent Tyson was and began to question the media portrayal of him. Now this may be going to far and remember it is Tysons story so is all from his perspective but despite my Dad not having a massive knowledge of the man he had a lot of preconceptions blown away.

Tyson is indeed utterly entharalling to listen to when I watched with A friend he was amazed at the emotion Tyson shows when he is choked up reminising about his old trainer and mentor Cus D'Amato.

At it's heart the subject matter is quite sad but I found certain bits laugh out loud funny. His description of Don King for example.

Overall though Tysons 'gift of the gab', honesty and philosphical musings make this film/documentary an absolute must for anyone interested in a top quality film or with an interest in the man and the sport

Fantastic

This is a very compelling movie about the life and times of mike tyson! Has you engaged from start to finish! And makes you realise this guys not just the animal that people make him out to be! He is just human like the rest of us! And that comes across in this film extremely well! Its situations and circumstances that gives the image of him being a savage that is so often portrayed! And to be honest alot of the time i actually agreed with the guy on certain topics! Like when he fought holyfield twice! Was he cheated? And was the ear biting justified? Many questions it leaves to you to make your mind up on! While also hearing from the horses mouth! And it also leaves you wondering if his beloved mentor/trainer/father figure cus had stayed alive for alot longer how long he could of been champ for??? But he"ll always be remembered as one of the greats! Short but sweet career! With alot inbetween! This mans a legend! Buy this movie you wont regret it! Tyson fan or not! Boxing fan or not! Its worth atleast a viewing.......!

The greatest fighter who ever lived- in all his pain and glory. His emotional story straight from the man himself. Spectacular.
