A promising well-known book to movie production did not deliver here at all for me. This fantasy moves so drearily slow with not much development in the storyline at all. The only star is, of course, Jim Carrey, and he does brighten the film up slightly, yet he can't raise this film's level from boring to even being watchable.
Total suprise
