Family Guy: Season 1 - 7 Box Set

I bought the box set because I do love the show but, i found out that not all episodes are on the included dvds. Some episodes in season 6 and 7 are omitted. (unless this is the way the episodes were broadcast here in the UK). I would still recommend this box set because the show is incredibly funny, but I would wait till the price comes down or it's not worth it.

I don't have the box set but do have every season of Family Guy, and South Park aside it has to be the funniest animated series on TV today. People complain about how random the show is, but that is its true beauty, you never know what they are going to come up with next and some of the scenes and sayings that derive from it are pure sardonic jocularity at its finest. Buy this and thank me later.

Great comedy laugh all the time but was a little dissapointed with the dvd boxset as i did not realise that the UK seasons were different to the USA, therefore not all episodes are presents, for example season seven in the UK only equals season 5 in the USA, so some classic episodes missing, and makes the dvd seem a little over priced.

Unless you are buying this for the big box that says "complete seasons 1-7", i recommend you buy each season separately. as long as you don't mind mixing and matching normal seasons with "exclusive white sleeve" seasons, you can get 1-7 for £74, saving you £66, enough to buy season 8 and even have money left over.
So yeah, if you don't mind paying £66 for a box with a pretty design and a title saying "complete seasons", by all means order this, otherwise save your money.

While I don't actually have the 1-7 box set I do have every series and this is one of the best shows currently on tv. It is incredibly funny and even on the worse episodes there are many funny moments. This is the exact sort of show that you will be quoting for weeks after seeing it. This box set is great value for many quality hours of television gold.
