James Woods stars as detective-sergeant, Lloyd Hopkins, an officer with the Los Angeles Police Department. A tough, brash womaniser, but also a dedicated cop, Hopkins gets himself assigned to a murder case, where he becomes totally obsessed with finding the killer, even at the expense of his own family.
