This is a really poor sequel, it's very silly and an insult to the classic original. But what makes the film an even more sadder effort is that the girl playing Carol Ann died during production. This is a great shame to have this film as your last. The is a truly dire film that fails on every level.
But on the good side the freaky Midget medium with the kids voice gets killed.
If your a fan of the original, then you must avoid this mess at all cost's
You have been warned!

Poltergiest 3 lacks the same horror the first two films display but as a big fan of these films I found it particularly easy to enjoy the film and would recommend it to any Poltergiest fan but not someone who is looking for gorey/scarey horror flick.

I LOVE the first 2 films and as one of those people who have to have a complete trilogy, I had to buy this.

It is terrible! Unrealistic, the script is poor and the acting unbelievable. The best actor was the late Heather O'Rourke who sadly died during filming.

Perhaps the film would have been better if she had finished it. Unfortunately, it was left in an unconcluded muddle.

If you have never seen Poltergeist, I highly recommend the first 2. STAY AWAY from this one, it does not do the legacy any justice at all.

As far as sequels go I felt increasing disappointed with this one, as the first 2 are 2 of my favourite horror movies of all time and built a new chill factor as they progressed, which left me feeling empty towards the end of the 3rd and I believe this wasn't meant to be the last leaving this an unfinished masterpiece had there been further installments. Better than some though.
