Prisoner Cell Block H: Volume 1 (8 Discs)

I own the complete boxset of 692 episodes and its the best boxset ever to be released! I have to say I'm addicted to it and I'm only half way through....Just got to the part with the Freak, Ferguson. Im about 60 episodes away from the great Wentworth Fire, which I missed when it was first aired so looking forward to that. I decided to look around for the complete boxset because I couldn't wait for all the volumes to be released...well worth waiting for....Lots of characters you forgot about and lots more to come!!!

It isn't play that are bringing Prisoner to the UK, Shock/ Fremantle are finally releasing it over here after they released the full 692 episodes monthly for subscribers and the complete 692 episode boxset collection in Australia. There are no plans to release the boxset over here as bbfc costs are way too expensive, if this volume sells enough then Shock/ Fremantle will release volume 2. The content of the dvd's will be exactly the same as the Australian release but the artwork is different, the outer case is black with orange writing and the bars on the outer cover with Bea, Lynne, Karen and Frankie's mugshots on each 2 disc inner case (4 cases in all) so the first 32 episodes which is in effect volumes 1 and 2 of the australian release put together. Val Lehman (Bea Smith) will be flying over in november to promote the UK release!

Just had a telephone call from freemantle because i rang the to find out when vol2 is releaed and good news released 1st june this year

Well what can i say, but a big huge thank you to play and freemantle, now its time for the next boxset, can wait come on guys enought of you buy it, we will get the rest, imagaine how frustrating it would be just have the first 32 episodes no more. We still have loads of characters to meet, the freak!! The most hated and loved character in a soap, rita conners the biker chick, mara and much much more. So come on guys buy and lets see more of whats on the inside, long live prisoner cell block h. Val leahman your the best, long rain queen bea.

I used to watch this recorded off channel five in the early hours of the morning and finally it's out on dvd! Great boxset but like everyone is saying - bring on the rest of the series, pronto!

Hurrah! Finally freemantle follow where the aussies have already been by releasing the most wonderful tv show ever on dvd - complete and in it's entireity, this is essential! Make that shelf space... You're gonna get hooked. And if you have the imports, buy again, because the uk will only get more if this sells enough.
