Agent 007 (Roger Moore) blasts into orbit in this action-packed adventure that takes him to Venice, Rio de Janeiro and outer space. When Bond investigates the hijacking of an American space shuttle, he and beautiful CIA agent Holly Goodhead (Lois Chiles) are soon locked in a life-or-death struggle against Hugo Drax (Michael Lonsdale), a power-mad industrialist whose horrific scheme may destroy all human life on earth!

This is not as bad a film as many people make out. For those Roger Moore fans, of which i am one, there are plenty of suave funny one liners that just ooze classic Bond. Drax is excellent as the main villain, as is the returning Jaws. I'm not sure about the Jaws love scenes though?! There is plenty of action and special effects and the typical innuendo with the main female character Dr Holly "Goodhead"! Miles better than Tanya Roberts' terrible performance in View To A Kill. If you like the Roger Moore Bond films you will enjoy this movie.

Easily one of the worst Bond movies

Moonraker is basically The Spy Who Loved me but set in Space and about a million times more ridiculous. It didn't hold my attention and I found it very boring in places. Hugo Drax was a very bland villain. Not the worst Bond movie, but certainly Roger Moore's worst. The only good thing about this film is Roger Moore manages to perform well and manages to amuse at times.

 Send it to the MOON!

Roger Moore's forth Bond film Moonraker saw Bond go down hill a very long way. It's poor. Roger Moore's Bond is still the worst and the entire film is just a cheap excuse to get Bond into space. It didn't work for me. Not only has it got the worst story of any Bond film but it's got the worst Bond girl. Dr Holly Goodhead. But however there is one good thing about this movie. The villain. Micheal Lonsdale plays millionaire Hugo Drax who to me is one of the best Bond villains there is. So well done Mr Lonsdale. We also see the amazing Jaws return who was great in The spy who loved me but in this he's just been turned into a joke. Seriously why can't you keep him as a bad guy don't let him fall in love it's just silly.
So as you can probably see it's not very good!
