In Rocky Road To Dublin, filmed in the late sixties, Ireland's Patriotic sportsmen, priests, censors and brain-washed children unwittingly convey the truth about a repressed, suppressed, censored Republic.
Unsurprisingly, after one screening in Dublin in 1968, it was suffocated for more than three decades; never released to Irish cinemas and never shown on Irish TV. Now restored, the film is complemented by a 'Making Of' that revisits the themes and contexts of the original documentary.
