Chris Crudelli, Martial Arts expert, has been on our screens for a good few years now, with "Kick Ass Miracles", "Kick Ass In A Crisis", and this 10-part documentary, "Mind Body and Kick Ass Moves", in which he travels all over Asia discovering some of the more secret and exotic Martial Arts such as Escrima, Ninjitsu, Shintaido, and several others. Crudelli is a highly-skilled Martial Artist himself, having over a decade of training, and being a licensed Kung Fu teacher. He is also a master of Chi/Qi/Ki, and gives us a few demonstrations of his own manipulation of this power, though mostly takes a back seat and lets the show's guests give more detailed examples. That's really the one gripe I have with this series; it's fascinating, and makes someone (like me, anyway) much more interested in taking up some form of Martial Art, but the series would be far more enjoyable with a bit more action from Chris. He really plays down his own abilities, which, yes, perhaps aren't quite on par with the Grand Masters, but he's our guide for the series, and it'd be nice for our guide to demonstrate his abilities a bit more. Would've been 5 stars if we'd had more from Chris himself, though I do admire his modesty. Apart from that minor fault, it's a fantastic series; buy it if you can.
