Dave Lister is the last human being in the universe. A lowly technician on the mining ship Red Dwarf, he wakes up one day to find that the rest of the crew have been killed by a radiation leak. He has been in stasis for three million years.

He is doomed to drift in space for the rest of eternity with only two companions: the hologram of his former crewmate, Rimmer, and a creature called Cat who has evolved from a pet he smuggled on board.

Enjoy all the episodes from the cult BBC sitcom that ran from 1988 - 1999.

 Fantastic Series, Awesome Box Set!

Red Dwarf is British comedy at its best. Classic one-liners expertly delivered by all the cast encapsulating sarcasm, quick wit and very clever humour. The simple storylines are polished by fine performances by all the cast. Lister and Rimmer's antagonism fuels hilarity while Kryten's personality changes throughout the season from his tampered programming enables the comedy to stay fresh. Cat is more concerned with his appearance than life or death yet creates another dimension to this space sitcom.

The Red Dwarf DVDs have been around for years, individual series, two volume box sets and smeg-up specials but for the fans of the show who wish to have an all-in-one DVD box set this is perfect and for a great price this Anniversary Edition will be well loved and watched time and time again...

Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast!

6 stars for the series 4 stars for the packaging

If you like Red Dwarf the you will love the fact that you can now own the entire series in one package, I won't go on how great Red Dwarf is, but I will share with you my dismay of how they packaged the series, I shall start by saying that this is not packaged like a normal DVD series box set, A normal example would be something like the 24 series or Battlestar Galactic or Doctor Who box sets, the Red Dwarf box collection is in a very large photo album style box, bigger than A4 size.
It looks pretty but I doubt you are going to fit on the DVD shelf or under the TV.
Great series stupid size packaging.
Sorry but that why this review only gets 4 stars, if the box was of a normal size then it would have been given a 6 star rating.

I bought this for my husband as he loves the show. This is the complete set series 1-8 but there are no extras, special features or smeg ups! If you are a real fan and want everything it is probably a good idea to buy each series individually. Otherwise, this is a perfect gift for any regular fan of the show. I am sure there will be many happy hours to come.

 Shame about the box

Its an excellent collection of one of the best comedys in recent decades, you can't fault what you get for your money. Every episode from start to finish, except the 2009 attempt at bringing it back.
The only downside to this boxset is the box it comes in. Its huge!
Its bigger than an A4 sheet of paper making it awkward to find anywhere to store it with most dvd holders.

Brilliant! What a great series,if you havent seen every episode then you NEED to buy this and watch the whole series. Comes in a nifty collectors box and is a bargain for this price! Even more reason to watch them again with the 20th anniversary specials coming out on UKTV soon :D

I was a bit disappointed there wasnt a bonus disk,or at least some extras but still a 5*
