This Documenatery is just Breathtaking.
You really just have to watch and try and absorb what this guy is trying to do.
Brilliant Story.

This oscar winning documentary tells the true story of a young Frenchman names Phillipe Petit who pulled of perhaps the craziest stunt of all time,walking on a wire between the two towers of The World Trade Centre.Petit himself enthusiastically describes the events leading up to and the stunt itself. 10/10

Man on wire is one of the best documentary style films I've seen since 'Touching the void' and 'Supersize me'. It's a fascinating story following Philippe Petit's unusual obsession with wire walking and takes you on his journey of evermore challenging feats over landmarks such as Notre Dame, Sydney Harbour Bridge and his ultimate achievement with the now infamous Twin Towers. Watching the lengths he went to planning the heist (after all it was technically illegal) makes you feel like you're watching a good 'oceans 11'! If nothing else the images of him stood 1350 feet above the ground with nothing to anchor himself to the wire except his skill should be breathtaking enough but the fact that he actually lies down on his back while out on the wire is simply astounding, a film definitely worth every penny.

Simple outstanding. One of the best documentary I have ever watched.

A truely breathtaking piece of cinematic documentary film, great for anyone whos a fan of the man himself, the twin towers or even as a documentary lover and at the price, its even better!
