Catherine Tate is about as funny as Athletes Foot and I've given it one star only because I can't give it any lower.
How anyone can can find someone repeatedly saying the words 'Am I bovvered?' hilarious, totally baffles me.

People of the younger generations find it funny because, judging by todays standards, they would probably laugh at a Party Politcal Broadcast if it was advertised as a comedy. In years to come, they will look back on it and realise how appallingly bad it is.

If you are like myself, and was brought up at the time of the classic comedies, stay well clear of this. It is totally unfunny and very repetitive. You may as well wait until it is repeated on TV, video one episode and watch it over and over again. This would be the equivalent of watching a complete series.

catherine tate show is great everyone has an old relative like the nan who speaks there mind therefore can relate to the show. other great characters including lauren the stroppy teenager think we can all relate to them years overall fun lightheart comedy for all the family can watch it over n over again if you havnt bought i suggest you buy.

This first series of the catherine tate show is brillant however series 2 is better but this series still has many laughs and for the price what more could you want.

When i first saw this lady i loved my head of .
One of the best characters are nanna the old lady .
There is always one character in every comedy that stands out and nanna is it .
Harry Enfeild had Tim nice but dim and Kevin .
But and i want to say this , the teenager , am i bothered , is the most annoying character ever .
There is far to many characters like her in real life and when i turn a comedy on in the eveing i want to realx and laugh , not chuck the telly out the window .
There are however characters that are good and make you laugh .
But half an hour of just nanna would have been great .
