Ghostbusters 1 & 2: The Special Editions

I love the movies and if you are reading this my guess is you do too. This pack is about presentation. When I first got this I knew I had bought quality. The book and films are held tightly in the box, the booklet is a good venture into the creation of the Ghostbusters universe. The initial sketches and concept drawings are interesting. Overall the package has been well thought out it is a set that oozes quality. The films of course are absolute classics and fun whether you are 9 or 39.You will not regret this purchase... Who ya gonna call !!

People that say these films are bad clearly mustbe mad. Both 1 and 2 are classic form the 80's I could watch them over and over again. it's the 80's what do you expect from a film for there time they are coooooool

The 2 star rated review below, clearly has no idea of what makes a good film.. If you just look for 'superior' special effects, you may want to try some of the modern box office 'hits' out there.. if you value a well written storyline, brilliant directing and some of the greatest acting by two of the best comic actors, then look no further.

These films were brilliant when I was a kid, they're brilliant now... So charge up your proton packs, cos bustin' makes me feel good!

These films are pure classics that everyone must add to their DVD collection. For £6 you really can't complain. Don't be put off with the age of the films because they just comedy gold.

Ghostbusters of course!! How can you give these movies anything less than 5 stars?? If like me you grew up watching these (and the cartoon) this box set is a real treat for you. Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Harold Ramis and Rick Moranis have never been better than in these hit movies from the 80s. The special effects and music still look and sound great today, as does Sigourney Weaver actually...

Whether its a spooky painting, a bathtub that comes alive, a dancing toaster, a river of slime, a haunted hotel, an evil refrigerator, a possessed woman or a giant marshmallow man - these movies have the lot!

The DVD set also includes a nice booklet with tonnes of info about the films and you even get some of the cartoon episodes included - whatever happened to the toys with the twirly gun things??
