Review

Gotham City faces two monstrous criminal menaces: the bizarre, sinister Penguin (Danny DeVito) and the slinky, mysterious Catwoman (Michelle Pfeiffer). Can Batman (Michael Keaton) battle two formidable foes at once? Like the Academy Award winning 1989 original, Batman Returns is directed by movie-making wizard Tim Burton. And like the first blockbuster, it's a dazzling adventure that leaves you breathless.

I am a massive batman fan. the first batman film was very good. however this sequel is not one of my favourite batman films. i hate this batman film, this film is only batman in name and is more of a
tim burton film.
this is way to dark and feel that burton makes this film into a macabre bizarre, pointless art film. the penguin in this film is a deformed freak, who lives in the sewers and spews black mucus from his mouth, this is not a batman villian, this is a tim burton villian. i love the first batman, and i believe that makers should have kept the same tone from the first film and used it for the second film. also in the film batman is made out to be as twisted nutter in a batsuit. this film is odd and sad, Heroism and excitement, that were in the first film are missing in this film.
all this is tim burton having fun at the expense of the batman legend.

Ah Cat Woman! This film is darker and moodier if that's possible. Again Keaton brings the dark Knight to life with great support along the way. Shame about the the other Batman films (apart form Batman Begins that is).
