Starring Nicholas Lyndhurst, Goodnight Sweetheart became an instant hit with TV viewers of all ages as it charts the life of Gary Sparrow, a dealer in memorabilia and antiques of WW2 who has miraculously discovered a portal in time which allows him to travel between the present and wartime Britain. The characters are more established and the humour is funnier in this 2nd series. And in respect to barryfromwatfords comment the "missing" episode was the Christmas special and is included in the series 3 set.

Season 2 Is One Episode Short,Between the Devil and the deep blue sea Episode 11 Series Two Aired On The 26th December 1995 ..........Not The Fault of Play.com but a very poor oversight if you are hoping to complete the set of the series.It is also the same on the Complete Boxed Set ................Oh Dear BBC,Not very good i`m afraid

As good, if not better, than first series. The characters have more of a personality and more solid storylines. Worth buying!
