Every Which Way But Loose (Dir. James Fargo, 1978): Clint Eastwood smashed box-office records as trucker Philo Beddoe, the best bar-room brawler west of the Rockies, who lives with a 165-pound orangutan named Clyde. With a fun country soundtrack and co-stars like Sondra Locke, Geoffrey Lewis, Beverly D'Angelo and the great Ruth Gordon, it's in every which way possible a grand time for all.
Any Which Way You Can (Dir. Buddy Van Horn, 1980): They're back. Philo Beddoe, the easygoing truck driver and bare knuckles brawler, and his 165 pound orangutan friend Clyde get into more mischief in this faster and funnier sequel to Every Which Way But Loose.
Philo (Clint Eastwood) thinks he'll retire from fighting. But a new contender lures him back - and Philo's girl (Sondra Locke) is kidnapped to ensure he'll turn up for the showdown. Glen Campbell, Jim Stafford and Snuff Garrett songs make up a tuneful country score, including an Eastwood/Ray Charles "Beers To You" duet. As ever, Clyde steals the show, especially in a swinging lady orangutan courtship scene!

I've seen these two films hundreds of times and have never tired of them.. In fact i use the phrase "right turn, Clyde" quite often... They're dead funny and would enhance anyone's colllection.

This is a boxset with Two brilliant films starring Clint Eastwood and is an excellent addition to any collection.
In the first film we meet Philo Bedoe who is a bare knuckle street fighting trucker, and his best friend Clyde the Orangutan, and follow him as he gets into fights and trouble with the law and a biker gang called the Black Widows.
In the second we see Philo trying to retire from fighting and avoid any more trouble, but trouuble is looking for him as his girl is kidnapped so forcing him to fight again.
Both films are packed with action, great acting, comedy throughout and have catchy soundtracks which make them highly enjoyable and hilarious!!
