  Great love story

It is a great love story, beautiful and tender. Unfortunately, it was not filmed as well as the story deserved. It should be unless 30 minutes shorter. At times the editing is patchy, with changes of angle that leave you perplexed. Some acting has room for improvement, that of Bisset in particular.
I loved the positive exposition of the clash between two very different views of the world. Both are deeply changed for the better. None is diminished or bashed. The Christian believes of one are a force so positive to the other as the acceptance of the difference is to the first.

  Excellent

I agree with all the people who have highly rated this movie. Its has a very good story and is well acted in my opinion. Its a romance that cant help but move those who watch it. It is up with Shank and Shelter as being my favourite movies.

  Loved it!

I dont what this was, poor acting, bad plot, unrealistic, over dramatized. This is as bad as all the main streem "we think we know the gay world" productions of the late 90`s.
I cant bieleve Jaqueline Bisset wanted to be part of this project, and even she sucks!!waist of time, and money

This is another great credit for the gay film collection. It combines a mix of sadness, great music, heart warming romance - thats cheesily - wants you to become a better person. But get the tissues cuz it made me cry!! Enjoy

My favourite gay themed film of all time

This is a very touching and wonderful film about a promiscuous gay man Christian (Wes Ramsey) who makes a bet with his friends that he will sleep with one of the Mormon boys, Aaron, who has moved into his block. Yet the more Christian gets to know Aaron (played beautifully by Steve Sandvoss) the more he realises what a superficial and shallow life he leads, and begins to fall in love with the Mormon lad (who is suppressing his homosexual tendencies). Once the `church' finds out about Aaron's sexuality, he not only has to deal with his own issues with being gay but also the repercussions within his Mormon family and church. This film really surprised me; it's got a real heart to it, is wqell produced, acted etc, and deals with the subject matter in a sensitive and respectful way. I must admit to shedding some tears during the film and it's the kind of film you can watch over and over. It is without a doubt, the best gay themed film I've ever seen. It's up there with Shelter, Big Eden, Brokeback and Summer Storm for me. I believe this film has the ability to change peoples perceptions of homosexual relationships for the better. Beautiful.

At last a really great gay film!

A wonderful script, great acting (by the entire cast) and a music score that adds well to this great mix, Rebekah Johnson has the voice of an Angel. This is a film that will give you much to think about long after the end credits have rolled on the many subjects it deals with in a fun and thoughtful way. A must watch film and a DVD that should be in any film lovers collection or indeed any lover of gay world cinema.
