This has got to be the funniest thing ever. Peter Kay and Patrick McGuiness are comedy genius as the embark on their aimless voyage, getting into as much truoble as you could imagine on the way. Great fun.

Be under no illusions, peter kay is funny, phoenix nights bowled everyone over but,.............
Max and paddy whilst amusing is missing the variety of characters that phoenix enjoyed, so the problem is that the comedy descends into slapstick a little too much for my liking, whereas nights could carry a good story effortlessly, max and paddy feel they have to bring in rather too serious storylines into a 27 minute running time. The extras are of mildly entertaining quality, but given the lack of material peter kay has produced, just what was the reason for his absence from the commentaries? Hmmmm! But i tell you what he sings a good song, you'll see.
