The con is on!
Hustle follows the fortunes of a gang of five expert con artists let loose on the streets of London. From rare comic books to antique banknotes they are specialists in the way of the grifter and all are keen to liberate cash from the amoral and undeserving...
Gold Mine: Mickey, Danny, Albert, Ash and Stacie return from a well-earned break to discover that old time grifter Harry Holmes (Ronald Pickup) has been banged up. After attempting to con ruthless property developer Howard Jennings, Holmes may be in for a long stretch. Jennings has been stung before and won't be out-smarted by anyone - or so he thinks...
Confessions: The gang are on the verge of completing a job but Albert's gone AWOL. When he finally appears it's all too late because 'the mark' has pulled out - but Albert has a new plan. After spotting Johnny Keyes - a prominent restaurateur with a notorious gangland background - in a church, he goes undercover as a priest to hear Keyes' confession...
The Lesson Danny has found a potential new member of the gang, Trevor. He's a short con artist and very good at what he does, but he targets the elderly and the poor as well as the greedy. Danny threatens to walk if the gang won't give Trevor a chance, so they reluctantly trust Danny's instincts. But is the gang finally going to end up being conned themselves?
Missions: The team's plan to con an auction house with a comic book forgery goes awry when corrupt copper Sam Phillips (Fay Ripley) decides she wants in on the play.
Old Acquaintance: When Stacie claps eyes on her estranged husband Jake (Max Beesley) who left her five years ago taking everything she owned with him, she's certain he is to be the gang's next mark. Having graduated from the short con world to the professional poker circuit he's good and he won't be an easy target...
Eye Of The Beholder: Mickey's got a plan and this one is like no other: they're going to steal the Crown Jewels! Initially, the gang assume Mickey is joking - they are not thieves but Mickey asks them to trust him and so they reluctantly agree to the elaborate con. This will be the biggest challenge they'll ever undertake, but Mickey's convinced they're good enough to pull it off.

this one of the best british dramas in years, and definitly worth a look at this price.this show gets better with each episodes, and leaves u guessing til the very end.episode 2 has the best twist, and episode 6 is definitly the best.brilliantly acted, funny and gr8 cons.buy now!!!
Series 2 has got better and better from series one. Probably 2 of the best episodes so far, 1.-the car park sale/rare bank note and 2.-the crown jewels. These episodes are fantastic and the program excels itself once again. If you were a fan of the first series-this is a must buy as it is addictive
Series 2 is good, the stories aren't as strong as Series 1 however. The humour is more evident in this series and the general quality of the show is still strong, just not as strong as the 1st series.
Hustle series two sees the return of the characters that we came to love in series one and all of them are back on top form here. Adrian Lester (Mickey Bricks) still manages to hold the show together and give some stability to the whole thing with some additional help from Robert Vaughn (Albert) while Ash (Robert Glenister), Danny (Marc Warren) and Stacie (Jamie Murray) all inject a sense of fun into the proceedings. The stories are still very strong and the twists good with the finale - the whole plotline surrounding the theft of the crown jewels - being the best of the lot also it provides one of the best twists which I personally did not see coming. On the whole however; series two is no series one. The first series set the bar so high that it was always going to be difficult to follow no matter how hard they all tried. This said; the writers, producers, directors and actors have given us another cracker which is still a lot better than series three and four.
