Little Britain takes a look at life in Britain today by following the fortunes of some extraordinary folk. Meet Emily Howard the rubbish transvestite; West Country delinquent Vicky Pollard, and Marjorie Dawes the terrifying group leader of FatFighters. There's also Daffyd, the only gay man in his village - and who wants to keep it that way - as well as the multi-talented actor, singer and composer Dennis `Minder' Waterman.

LB was still fairly funny in series 2 but the novelty was wearing off somewhat. Tom Baker's silly monologues still hit the spot though. And Lou and Andy are fantastic creations. This comedic style does not have the cultic gravitas of masterpieces such as Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, The Young Ones or The IT Crowd.
