I was introduced to this show by a mate, and it is without a doubt the best comedy show i've seen in years, and one which i'll force everyone i know into watching.
The timing on mr lee's punchlines, the delivery of his point is so unique to him, as all standup comedians, he's obviously been working on the routine and some of the gags for a number of years, and with this live recording has proven that practice makes perfect!
Highly reccomended, and lets face it, if someone has the balls to say william wallace was homosexual in front of a pretty mental looking glasgow crowd deserves £4-5 of anyones money!!
Funnier than mainstream

I hate it when people give evrything 5 stars. But I cant fault this DVD. I dont agree with everything that stewart lee says and he still makes me laugh. Now that is talent for you! well done stewart lee!
Stewart lee is an articulate comedian. It is rare to find standup that is funny the subsequent times that you see it. If you want to see standup that is intelligent, alternative and still possible to relate to then you will like this. If you like this you should also see, "don't get me started". If like me, you tend to shy away from recommendations that people give because the hype turns you off, then this is alternative for you. I can't watch things like american pie. I know the hype will get to me. I like american comedies but when "meet the fockers" and "...the parents" dissapoints due to over hype, you need a decent uk sense of humour. This is better than fist of fun. strange, but pleasing to see a comedian who you like when you were younger and discover he is still funny. £5 is a snip!

This is simply breathtaking. A comedian in his element. If it weren't for Richard Pryor's 1979 concert, this would be the greatest stand up routine of all time.
The best thing about it though, is that the jokes remain just as fresh on the 10th viewing as they were on the first. Without a doubt Stewart Lee is the most intelligent comedian alive today.
