Stewart Lee: Stand Up Comedian

This is simply breathtaking. A comedian in his element. If it weren't for Richard Pryor's 1979 concert, this would be the greatest stand up routine of all time.

The best thing about it though, is that the jokes remain just as fresh on the 10th viewing as they were on the first. Without a doubt Stewart Lee is the most intelligent comedian alive today.

To say that stewart lee is hilarious is a total understatement, very very clever comedian, very very funny. I recently saw him live in Sheffield and he was brilliant. Probably not one for fans of Michael Machintyre and Dillan Moran due to the fact that you may have to think at least once or twice while watching

Each of these reviews is 5 stars, and it is not over-zealous marking, it is really that good. Stewart Lee is one of the few comics around at the moment that you need to have your wits about you to get his jokes and style, but once you do, there is just no one better. Astonishingly dry, exceptonally funny and one of the comedy legends. If you don't like it, you don't get it. 10/10

I was introduced to this show by a mate, and it is without a doubt the best comedy show i've seen in years, and one which i'll force everyone i know into watching.

The timing on mr lee's punchlines, the delivery of his point is so unique to him, as all standup comedians, he's obviously been working on the routine and some of the gags for a number of years, and with this live recording has proven that practice makes perfect!

Highly reccomended, and lets face it, if someone has the balls to say william wallace was homosexual in front of a pretty mental looking glasgow crowd deserves £4-5 of anyones money!!
