Hellboy 2: The Golden Army - Special Edition (2 Discs)

Forget batman, hulk and iron man, this was the movie to see this summer. Fantastic action throughout (was that other reviewer watching a different movie?), amazing imagination, stunning production values and one of the funniest films i have sat through in a long time. Ron petlman's hellboy is one of the best comic-book characters to ever hit the big screen. Oh and its better than hb #1 which i loved!

Fantastic film! I saw it 3 times at the cinema, and i can't wait to get my copy on dvd. I really recommend it to anyone!

Hellboy 2 is hugely underrated in the comic books films section, it is a much improved sequel. It was entertaining from start to finish which adds mixes of comedy and action sequences. Also the creatures created are incredible, a worthy dvd for any collection.

This is in my opinion Guillermo Del Toro's best English language film by some distance. Visually stunning, particularly the scenes in the troll market and with a fantastic central performance from Ron Perlman as Hellboy. Smarter, funnier and with better action sequences than the majority of the more publicized comic book movies. A buy you will not regret.

This has to be one of the greatest 'eye-candy' movies ever made! It looks amazing at all times. Superb visual effects, costumes, set and characters blend together into a very entertaining movie! the first film was a bit boring, but this one is great...and has superb banter throughout! Very funny in many places. Really good fun. Should've been a massive blockbuster. Guillermo del Toro has unsurpassed visual imagination, that's for sure. He must have weird dreams in real life!
