deffiently...One of the best Cantonese films ever made. Would beat alot of gangster films hands down!!!

Andy Lau and Tony Leung both give excellent performances in this Hong Kong trilogy of insiders in the Triads and the Hong Kong Police force. It keeps you interested throughout and should be considered a modern Hong Kong movie classic. The first film is the blueprint for the hollywood film The Departed and if you were a fan of that then you should really check this trilogy out.
