Steve Carell's finest comedy performance thanks to Judd Apatow. I forgot how funny this movie was and how it makes you cringe at some of the lines that come out of the actors mouths.
This is a great DVD Edition and the extra minutes might not be all that but it's still a great movie to watch!

You'll Wish You Were A Virgin.

Steve Carell delivers a hilarious performance backed by other comedy geniuses such as Seth Rogen.

You'll cringe for the character, laugh at his misadventures and if the part of your brain that controls humour is functioning correctly, you'll thoroughly enjoy this movie.

If you like movies such as Superbad, Pineapple Express and Anchorman then this movie is a must see.

Although at times you may find the movie dragging on, in the end you will not be dissapointed.

 Perfect

The humour is a bit of an acquired taste, but the film as a whole is right up there with the greats. Superb acting from Steve Carrell, a definite must have for any lover of comedy. Buy it now!!

One to watch again and again!!

Judd Apatow's directorial debut film is awesomely funny. Some of the jokes may seem crass and immature, but they're cleverly exploited and just made both clever and funny.
Watch this films and hold your stomach, as you'll throw up from laughter.

 Over-rated.

I am a big fan of Judd Apatow movies, but to be honest I've never really understood why this film is so widely popular. It is not without its very funny moments (f.e. the waxing scene, and Rogen & Rudd's completely improvised "you know why you're gay?" scene) but it just seems to drag on way too long. The female love interest is terribly cast, even though I know she is supposed to be as old as Steve Carrel's character, she looks noticably older and isn't even that attractive or generally intersting. And though I usually like his work I just find Steve Carrel extremely annoying in this role.
Worth a look as its cheap and has a few funny moments, but in my opinion it is widely over-rated, and the supporting cast are a lot funnier than the main characters. 6 out of 10.

 ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT

This is the movie that launched the careers of so many Judd Apatow regulars Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd and also saw Steve Carell excel in the lead role. There are so many very funny moments in this film that you cant remember them all from gross out gags to perfectly timed comedy lines and if anything is very underrated in terms of its comedy. One of the best in years and has tonnes of replay value. Enjoy
