You think you know who you are. You have no idea...

They all live in Los Angeles. And in the next 36 hours, they will collide. A car crash brings together many desperate residents of Los Angeles, often finding themselves defined in life along racial boundaries...

A breathtaking multi-layered story of interlocked lives, vignettes much in the vein of Robert Altman classics Short Cuts and Nashville, written and directed by the Oscar-nominated screenwriter of Million Dollar Baby Paul Haggis.

Countless characters, 48 hours, their lives will inexplicably and sometimes even without them noticing all their lives will intertwine. A film for the 21st Century, involving all the issues, emotions and thoughts of today- racism and terrorism to name but a few. I cant describe this film any further, if you're reading this, you can only watch it to be amazed and understand how incredible Crash really is.

I thought that this film was amazing it showed how people from all walks of life in a city are connected in some way, it was really thought provoking. A definate must!

The most powerful film I have ever seen

This film is amazing. It deals with race issues in a way that seems both sensitive and brutal at the same time. The storylines inter-weave and interlock excellently. The film also benifits from an amazing cast including Brendan Fraiser, Thadie Newton, Ryan Phillippe, Don Cheadle, Matt Dillon and many more. This film actually made me cry.
Buy this film. You won't regret it.

What a load of rubbish! and didnt this win best picture at the Oscars? just goes to show what a joke the academy is! this is utter, unrealistic rubbish, the multiple stories are pathetic and they are just a mish-mash of little tales that show a completely OTT view of racism(in which every character seems unable to string a sentence together without mentioning race which i find rather stupid) and nothin much else, (which is prob why the P.C academy gave it the best picture oscar in the first place)

and the stories dont even intertwine that much as the synopsis would suggest, and when they do it is not in a particularly clever or inventive way

In my view this should be a contender for one of the worst films EVER.

AVOID!!!

"Crash" sees director Paul Haggis bring true life to the screen as he explores the racism and hate towards other cultures in the city. The plot doesn't exactly focus on one person alone, instead it focuses on several events with different people exploring their views on racism. This film completely blew me away with it's superb acting and story. I was touched and extremely moved by "Crash" as it makes us all realise how terrible the racism is in the city. Paul Haggis unfortunately missed out on the best director Oscar in 2005 but if it were up to me I would have easily handed the award over to him myself as his excellent direction created such an amazing film which also won best picture in 2005 and rightfully so as this is not only the best film of 2005 but also one of the best for years and years. Not to be missed.
