This is a great movie but it is slightly overrated, it's moving and powerful and has a fantastic script and a superb cast.
Overall a meaningful movie with great values.

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars Over-rated but still a good film

I recommend this film. Although the whole film tends to be over-the-top, and the script creates characters that are neither wholly likable nor truly credible, it does a nice job of balancing its nightmare/fantasy elements with the reality of the human condition. It also brow-beats its audience a bit - and then follows up with redemptions, sacrifices, and commitments to humanity. Finally, if you enjoyed Babel, you are likely to enjoy Crash - structurally and dramatically very similar films set in very different places and with very different characters.

Countless characters, 48 hours, their lives will inexplicably and sometimes even without them noticing all their lives will intertwine. A film for the 21st Century, involving all the issues, emotions and thoughts of today- racism and terrorism to name but a few. I cant describe this film any further, if you're reading this, you can only watch it to be amazed and understand how incredible Crash really is.

This film is amazing. It deals with race issues in a way that seems both sensitive and brutal at the same time. The storylines inter-weave and interlock excellently. The film also benifits from an amazing cast including Brendan Fraiser, Thadie Newton, Ryan Phillippe, Don Cheadle, Matt Dillon and many more. This film actually made me cry.
Buy this film. You won't regret it.

This is one of the most hard hitting and powerful films I have ever watched, and left me contemplating about the issues raised in the film for days afterwards. The acting is brilliant, with 5 star performances from Matt Dillon, Thandie Newton, Ryan Phillipe and others. This is a brilliant watch, and I personally recommend Crash to anyone who enjoys a dramatic, and meaningful film.
