Every day has a beginning...
Pennsylvania 1968. A strange viral outbreak is contained within the walls of a military hospital:people exposed are disposed of, burned to a crisp, and the incident covered up.35 years on and the military are gone, replaced with a mental hospital. When five patients are about to be released, they uncover a secret buried within the compound and unwittingly unleash the virus.
Designed to speed human evolution, it turns people into powerful creatures capable of astounding feats... and incredible cruelty. In order for their survival, they must feed on human flesh: but a bite from these creatures creates a new state of existence, their subordinates - the Living Dead. For those left alive there's little choice - accept their fate or fight, even if it means their own destruction
Inspired by the zombie classics of George A. Romero, 'Contagium' is a referential and reverntial homage with a playful narrative that works as both a prequel and sequel to the original Trilogy Of The Dead...

I'm actually annoyed that i have to give it one star. The film is an absolute disgrace to the Dead brand. I know it has nothing to do with George Romero so why try to make a sequel that isn't even a sequel to one of his films. It has absolutely nothing to do with Day Of The Dead. I thought the beginning was ok (i say that through gritted teeth) then the rest was absolute dribble. Stick with Rmero's movies and the remakes, much better than this tripe. As someone else pointed out, was the main bulk of the budget spent on the artwork for the cover?! I'd much prefer to stare at the box for an hour and 39 minutes, i kid you not!!!
What the hell does "Contagium" mean anyway?

Guess they spend their lunchmoney on the coversleeve. I really want to say that this is the worst zombie movie out there, but i don´t wanna jinx it. Why use CGI if you just don´t have the money to do it properly? And these guys are supposed to glue together Creepshow 3.
Dreadfull
