Kylie: X2008

I saw the show for my birthday back in 2008, i had seen her Let's Get To It , Fever & Showgirl Tour and X is definately in a league of it's own!
Just simply sublime on every level, right from the bass thumping opening of Speakerphone, through to the cheer-leading camp of Heartbeat Rock/Wow and the 19th Century French theme set to a stunning interpretation of On a Night Like This & Your Disco Needs You.
An essential purchase for any true Kylie fan! :)

"X" has to be Kylie's best Live Show and best DVD.

I saw this in live the same day they recorded it and...I've been in many many concerts from many artists but this one deserves the first place, it's a beautiful concert with great songs and styles. Kylie looks divine here and the extras of the DVD are just perfect, especially the documentary.
If you're a Kylie fan, its an obligation for you to have this! and if you're not a Kylie fan, you will watch a perfect concert that will make you a fan ;)

I saw this show in Norway on June 10th and it was awesome! I've been a fan since locomotion came out and I must say, this DVD proves that Kylie still got it after over 20 years in the buisness! This concert is her best ever!! Can't wait for 2009 and her new album;)

I was at this very show at the O2 on July 26th. It was a great, but somehow the atmosphere doesn't come across on the DVD. I think it is let down by the sound quality; it sounds a bit "mushy", even in 5.1 digital. It is nowhere near as good as, for instance, Take That "Beautiful World Live" (also recorded at the O2) which has a much better overall sound quality. We shouldn't forget of course that this show was first aired on TV; on the launch night of "4Music" , and I remember thinking at the time it had been "rushed out"...

They should have spent a little more time and effort cleaning up the recording before putting it out on DVD.

The DVD Extra's are also pretty disappointing.

Got this dvd 1st day it was out, really love kylie and got all the other dvd's, this concert is really good and the girl is on top of her art, think the show girl tour overall though is better, but the whole act 4 with the silver skull is really really awesome, version of slow is so well done. Extra's are really poor though, the 12 hours thing is not what i thought it would be, its not on for long and its just a fly on the wall things that does not interact with kylie at all. I think it would be an indeph documentary like the 2nd disk on white diamond dvd, but its not.

Saw her at the last night in Glasgow and she was fab,cant wait for this dvd to come out. Roll on her next tour wooooooooo

I saw her in madrid last june...i can't wait to have this dvd... A perfect show, a new and different concept of design in a kylie show... Lights and projections in a perfect conjunction on stage... Fantastic performance of "like a drug" my favorite moment of the concert, with the fantastic and new intro, on the skull, and these dark electric green lights, and the back drop projection,... Wow!!!

Went to see the concert live the night before the filmed one. Fantastic! It felt a little more simplistic to Homecoming however by no means let that put you off. From Speakerphone to I Should Be So Lucky the concert will have you singing along all the way.

My pesonal Fave of the evening was Boombox/Can't Get You Out Of My Head.
