The time: today. The stakes: all our tomorrows. A nascent AI, assisted by droids, continues to edge toward world domination and the ruin of humankind. It accepts no limits. It fears no one. Except John Connor. The machines know John, now 16, is the future head of the resistance. They know he is growing in abilities. They must find and terminate him. But Sarah Connor is there, protecting and instructing her son as he becomes the man he's destined to be. The hunt is on in a season of powerful revelations, breathless pursuits and bravura effects. A mysterious 3-dot symbol (do UFOs provide a clue?), a girlfriend for John (is Cameron jealous?), ZeiraCorp (can it master the renegade software called Turk?) - Season 2's 6-disc action arsenal is locked, loaded, ready to amaze.

Season one was awesome, probably the best tv adaption of a movie ever, with gripping stories that are just as interesting as the feature films, characters you really actualy feel for (summer glau is so amazing) this is an important bridge between the movies, season 2 is awesome and this dvd is a must pre-order. If you havnt seen the first season yet buy that right now!!!

Fantastic series, shame that they cancelled it...

This was a fantastic series, better than season 1 and with many opportunities for continued improvement. I was really looking forward to where the producers were going to take this after the awesom end to season 2...and they took it nowhere. It really is a shame that it was cancelled before the chance to resolve some things in season 3...

 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles is a fantastic series and one which fans of the films will enjoy. Those who didn't like Terminator 3, will be happy to hear that this series is set in an alternate reality, where judgement day is in 2011, not 2004.

I felt that most of the actors/actresses in the series were of a high quality and really fitted well into the personas of their characters. Garret Dillahunt as John Henry, Lena Headey as Sarah Connor, Richard T Jones as James Ellison and Brian Austin Green as Derek Reese were all personal favourites.

I would highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys sci-fi/the terminator films/drama. The plot twists are worthy of a blockbuster movie and work well to keep you hooked. The effects are brilliant too, especially the terminators themselves, who look chillingly sinister and realistic when parts of their metal body are exposed

£35.99 is a very good price for the series and you should not hesitate to buy! Highly recommended!

Enjoyed season 1 and liking season 2 so far. Gonna buy this on blu-ray and if you are a terminator fan then you should buy this either on dvd or blu-ray. Its a must buy.

 Amazing 2nd series!

I've found this 2nd series a tincy bit better than the first. Which is saying a lot as I was very impressed with the first series. This show is just amazing. I watch it every Thursday night on Virgin1 at 10 pm [was 9pm for ages but it changed last week] and always really look forward to each new episode. It never dissapoints, ever. Each episode explores a different aspect to the main core story of the show and for me, it just gets more and more interesting each time! I love this show! The actors are great. Personally, I think Lena Headey should win an award for best actress as her portrayal of Sarah Connor as it is absoutly mesmerising and brilliant! Not to mention Thomas Dekker's portrayal of John Connor, which is always brillant too. To be honest, I was really hoping they would cast John Connor right the next time as Nick Stahl sucked as John Connor in T3 [average movie]. Thankfully they did, they casted him very, very well. All the actors, Summer Glau and others really are great, very good actors. I'm up to episode 15 atm, watching episode 16 tonight [WOOT!]. I highly recommend this series as it makes you kinda forget the mess T3 was. Personally, T3 was ok, it wasn't terrible I felt but it was a mess in terms of dates, story, all that. I just didn't think the script-writer paid much attention to that, which I found a bit cheated by from being a big Terminator fan. Now, just to make it clear. This TV series is an alternate storyline than of T3. It follows on from T2 and ignores T3 [thankgod!]. It does this very well and each episode really is very, very good entertainment. The action scenes are very well directed and put together. All in all, a great show which I highly recommend that just got a tincy, tincy bit better!
