Leonard and Sheldon are brilliant physicists, the kind of "beautiful minds" that understand how the universe works. But none of that genius helps them interact with people, especially women. All this begins to change when a free-spirited beauty named Penny moves in next door. Sheldon, Leonard's roommate, is quite content spending his nights playing Klingon Boggle with their socially dysfunctional friends, fellow Caltech scientists Wolowitz and Koothrappali. However, Leonard sees in Penny a whole new universe of possibilities... including love.

 Can't wait

I've been watching this series on E4 and can't wait until the DVD is released.

The actors seem much more comfortable in their characters than they did in series one when things seemed just a little forced.

Not only that but the writers seem to have gotten hold of the characters too. Sheldon especially is done so well. He's a know-it-all who (correctly) thinks he smarter than everyone else but somehow, he remains very likeable.

And if the scene where Penny gives him his Christmas present doesn't have you in stitches, then there must be something wrong with you. ;o)

 Better than Season One

I saw the entire season two on holiday over about 3 days. There is not one episode that isn't hilarious. After season one proved "okay", I didn't expect the series would really improve but I was wrong - the scripts are better, the characters have developed - its starting to be a series that can rival my all time favourite, Friends. The best thing about the series is that I feel less nerdy than I did before I started watching as I know I am in no way as geeky as these guys - there's hope for us all. :0)

Leonard and penny= ross and rachel

Leonard and penny have an absolute will they- won't they relationship. You always seem to be rooting for leonard and he comes so close at points in this season with penny and watch out for the last part of the last episode. Really ross-rachel stuff. Sheldon belive it or not kinda gets a girlfriend in this season. He also gets even stranger too. Can't wait for season 3
